Tourism Central Australia is looking for four to six local people to become adventure ambassadors for our region and to star in the next #RedCentreNT Adventurers marketing campaign.
As an organisation, we play a large role in destination marketing. We work closely with the Department of Tourism & Culture, private sector and other stakeholders to market the #RedCentreNT.
With this campaign, Tourism Central Australia's marketing vision is to position the #RedCentreNT as the adventure capital of Australia and to grow the adventure travel industry in our region.
The chosen adventurers will be dispersed throughout the region to experience the #RedCentreNT's top adventure experiences in Alice Springs, the MacDonnell Ranges, Uluru and Kings Canyon - and we'll be there to capture it all on camera. The Adventurers
Our adventurers must be experience seekers! You can apply as a single adventurer, as part of a couple, or as a pair of friends.
- Aged approximately 18-50
- Willing to commit to 2 weeks of filming and travelling in mid August 2017 (exact travel dates can be negotatied)
- Fit and active and enjoy physical, emotional and mental challenges. Adventurers see these challenges as opportunities for self-discovery.
- Based in the #RedCentreNT and is passionate about this region
- Fun-loving and adventurous
- Confident and comfortable being on camera
- Enjoy getting off the beaten track and interacting locally with people to make friends, develop personal relationships and engage in the #RedCentreNT lifestyle
- Interested in travelling for travel's sake and see it as an important aspect of your lifestyle and well-being.

- Camel rides
- Hot air ballooning
- Mountain biking
- Cycling
- Hiking/trekking
- Quad biking
- Motorcycling
- Segway tours
- Chopper flights
- Skydiving
- Camping under desert stars
- Wild swimming
- 4WDing
