  • NTMEC has a range of event planning resources, including budget templates, risk management information, and more.
  • Mildura Rural Council has significant documentation covering topics like event strategy, sponsor survey, volunteer recruitment tips, and more.
  • Alice Springs Town Council’s Event Planning Guide. Step by step processes for planning, organising & delivering community events. 
  • Tourism Central Australia can help your event by being an information provider, travel partner, or having our mobile information trailer at your event. Please reach out for more information.
  • Tourism NT Image Gallery - You are welcome to register as a new user and request use of any images or video within the gallery to assist with marketing and event promotion.
  • NT Business Events (NTBE) Supplier Directory is a great first port of call when looking for supplier ideas and contact details.
  • Business Events Australia has released an Instagram Toolkit, an extensive guide to creating great social media content that helps industry to communicate there’s nothing like Australia for business events. Access the toolkit here.
  • How to Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) Guide.
  • rEVENTS Academy - Regional and Rural event management training and resources including webinars, templates, and checklists.
  • Find the most current support programs and funding initiatives available to you at both a local and national level with the NT Business Support Guide.
  • MusicNT’s All Good Project has been working with local live music venues across the NT to create safer spaces for staff, performers and patrons, and are expanding into festivals and events in 2023.

Marketing Resources

1. Red Hot Arts Central Australia (RHACA) has a list of resources available to market your event; with everything from an LED lights display to window wraps, and digital posters across 23 locations. Most importantly, make sure you have your event listed on their site.


2. Yeperenye Shopping Centre has finished most of its renovations and is keen to restart event activations in the centre. Being one of the highest foot traffic area's in Alice springs, what better place to have a stall for your event? To find out more email Georgia at events@discoverca.com.au and she'll connect you with their amazing team. 


3. The Alice Springs Town Council has several promotional resources available for event organisers:

  • 3 major banner locations (Todd Mall, Cnr. of Larapinta Dr and Telegraph Tce, Gap Rd)
  • 37 flag poles (Excluding the Todd Mall - 27 on Barrett Dr, 2 on Leichhardt Tce, 8 on Wills Tce)
  • Todd Mall has a Bannerconda System with 25 banner locations around the CBD

The council also offer a range of additional resources including a portable, blow-up movie screen, giant games, and a range of infrastructure for events. Check out the 'Organise an Event' section of the council website.


4. Alice Springs Airport has a wide range of affordable package options to build brand awareness at the airport including video walls at the arrival’s baggage carousel and departure area, static backlit lightboxes and static billboards located along the Stuart Highway on the way into town. In preparation for the Events season and future organisation of events in Central Australia, TCA, with Red Hot Arts Central Australia (RHACA), has established a forum for event organisers of all areas to upload event information for the local industry to see. 

The aim of this calendar is to be a planning tool for event organisers to use when preparing their next event. It will illustrate what else is happening in Central Australia around the time of your planned date.
