Description

Visit the Resort Visitor Information Centre to look a wide range of guided tours (fees apply) and organise your journey into the homeland of Anangu (the local Aboriginal people). You can embark on a base walk of Uluru. Hike through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta or take a birds-eye view in a helicopter.

By night, some tours include dining under a canopy of stars accompanied by the ancient sounds of a lone didgeridoo at the award-winning Sounds of Silence dinner orr indulge yourself in 'Tali Wiru', meaning beautiful dune in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the southern desert sky.

The resort also has a wide range of free activities, including guided or self-guided garden walks through local native flora, Indigenous art classes for kids, sit down for a bush yarn in the Circle of Sand with a local Anangu storyteller, learn how to throw a spear or boomerang with an Indigenous guide, listen to the enchanting sounds of the didgeridoo, support local artists and browse the many art pieces at the Indigenous art markets or marvel at the traditional Indigenous dance performance where audience participation is encouraged and rare photo opportunities with the performers will ensure you will never forget this unique experience.

Voyages Ayers Rock Resort is located at the gateway to the World Heritage listed Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park, just 6km from Ayers Rock Airport.

Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru, Connellan Airport) is less than 15 minutes’ drive from the resort, and free return airport transfers are available from Ayers Rock Airport only. Please note that Ayers Rock is a 1 hour flight or a 4.5 hour drive (450kms) from Alice Spring Airport.

Ayers Rock Airport:
Both Jetstar and Virgin Australia fly directly into Ayers Rock Airport from Sydney, Virgin Australia flies daily and Jetstar operates 4 flights per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday). .

Fly direct from Sydney, Cairns and Brisbane to Ayers Rock Airport. Flights from Melbourne connect through Sydney to Ayers Rock Airport. Flights from Darwin and Adelaide fly to Alice Springs Airport. As an alternative, discover the Red Centre with a fly-drive itinerary. Qantas offer direct flights to Alice Springs from Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne.

Airport Transfers:
Complimentary return coach transfers from Ayers Rock Airport to Voyages Ayers Rock Resort meet every scheduled flight. The return transfer to Ayers Rock Airport collects you from your hotel approximately 2 hours prior to flight departure, please check with reception for exact time.

Self-Drive:
There is no better way to explore Central Australia than at your own pace. Pre-booking of hire cars with unlimited kms through Tourism Central Australia is recommended

Coach Transfers :
Coach transfers are available and operate services between Alice Springs, Kings Canyon, and Uluru. Coach bookings can be made through Tourism Central Australia
