Tourism Central Australia Cancellation / Refund Policy
Conditions of Sale issued to and accepted by the holder on the distinct understanding that Tourism Central Australia Inc. is to be regarded merely as the agent of the operator. No action shall lie against Tourism Central Australia whether by any act, default or negligence on its part, or that of its servants for any accident, delay, alteration in time or changes, re-arrangement or failure to notify the holder or the property of the holder arising out of the performance or non-performance of the service provided. It is hereby further agreed by the holder that in the event of any cancellation of services offered by the operator only such deposits or monies shall be refunded as sanctioned by the suppliers of the service. Tourism Central Australia in any agreed instance is only liable for the refund of the initial booking fee, of the commissionable rate.
Payments
Please note all bookings must be paid in full 30 days prior to travel. ‘On request’ bookings will be charged in full at the time of confirmation of a booking from the provider, if the booking is within cancellation period (per terms and conditions below), it will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Deposit and Admin Fees
An initial deposit of 10% is required to secure a booking. Cancellations of all confirmed bookings will attract a 10% administration fee in addition to any that may be applied by the supplier of the service. An amendment fee of $25.00 may be charged per itinerary change.
Other Terms and Conditions
Customers may wish to consider purchasing appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation and amendment fees.
Tourism Voucher booking changes and amendments will be charged at $25 per change/amendment, all operator cancellation charges will apply as per associated cancellation policy.
Refunds
If you are entitled to a refund, it will be processed as quickly as possible. This is generally within 14 days, however, in some circumstances it may take longer.
Cancellation or Amendment
Cancellation or Amendment fees will be taken from the contribution put forward by the customer in case of vouchers or promotions, customer cancellations or amendments. In accordance with the Travel Agents Licence Act.
