Hangi and Movie night.
On-the-run, a traumatised, half-caste boy-soldier, Haki, 15, is captured by Māori resistance forces preparing a last desperate stand against the British Imperial Army. Haki’s life is forfeit until Kōpū, 15, a girl-medium of a war god, saves him.
Araluen Arts Centre are celebrating the release of the movie Ka Whawhai Tonu, with a “Dinner and show” Book your ticket for a Hangi meal by TQAS Catering, including:
Three meats: Chicken, pork and beef/lamb
Vegies: Potato, sweet potato, pumpkin and stuffing
